Attention all foodies – there’s a delicious new place to eat that just opened at Disney’s Boardwalk! The Boardwalk Deli recently replaced the Boardwalk Bakery and opened on August 15, 2022. This location was inspired by the popular delis of the Northeastern United States. Here is everything you’ll need to know about the Boardwalk Deli!
Breakfast
If you want to start your day at the parks off with some delicious food, stop here to fuel up! The Boardwalk Deli offers a wide variety of freshly baked breakfast foods to enjoy. You’ll have your choice of house-baked bagels, sweet breakfast pastries, warm bagel sandwiches, and so much more! There are hearty options such as the Everything Bagel Sandwich, made with cage-free eggs, sausage, and cheddar cheese. There are also plant-based options such as the Plant-Based Ciabatta Sandwich, made with “egg” Florentine, plant-based cheese, tomato jam, and arugula. It’s a wonderful way to start your day!
Lunch & Dinner
For lunch and dinner, you also have a variety of deliciousness to choose from! You’ll have a choice between hot and cold deli sandwiches, served on your choice of bread (traditional marble rye, fluffy ciabatta, or focaccia bread). Your taste buds are in for a treat, with all breads baked fresh in-house.
Some of the amazing subs they have to offer are the signature Italian sub, which consists of thinly sliced capicola, sopressata, pepperoni, provolone, arugula, tomato, arugula pesto, and mayonnaise on fresh-baked ciabatta bread. They also have a Warm Pastrami Reuben Sandwich, which is a deli classic. This is made with warm pastrami, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and Thousand Island Dressing on marble rye bread. If you are looking for a plant-based option, they have the Veggie Crunch Muffaletta, made with pickled root vegetables, olive-giardiniera tapenade, and plant-based cheese on focaccia bread. Don’t forget to complete your amazing meal with an in-house made whole dill pickle!
Dessert
Now for everyone’s favorite part – dessert! There are so many incredible desserts to choose from, that you’ll want to try them all! First up, we have delicious Cannolis that are fresh and filled to order. The crispy shells and creamy mascarpone cheese, ricotta, and shaved dark chocolate blend will leave you wanting more! You can also get other sweet treats such as the Blueberry Scone, made with crème fraiche and topped with pearl sugar, or the New Jersey Crumbcake – which is deliciously moist and topped with a thick cinnamon crumb topping. Still have a sweet tooth that won’t go away? Try the New York-style Half-moon cookie, the Cream Puff, Raspberry Danish, a wide assortment of cookies, brownies, cheesecake, cupcakes, and much, much more!

While many people were sad to see the Boardwalk Bakery go, they will be pleased to know that the Boardwalk Deli will still fulfill their bakery cravings. Here, you are not only limited to dessert – you can also have breakfast, lunch, or dinner and it will be a delicious meal.
