Disney announced that on October 19, 2021 that Disney Genie + and Individual Attraction Selections will be coming to the parks. Also announced, were the prices for the new paid ride systems.
Disney Genie +
Disney Genie + is the new paid ride feature replacing FastPass +. With Genie +, guests will be able to use the lightning lane and bypass the standby lines at 46 different attractions at Walt Disney World. The price will be $15 per person per day at Walt Disney World and $20 per person per day at Disneyland. Guests can purchase Genie + prior to their trip or the day of their trip. Genie + lightning lane selections may only be booked one ride at a time. An important thing to remember is that you will only be able to ride each attraction only once using Genie+.

Individual Attraction Selection
Individual Attraction Selection is the other paid ride service being offered at Disney World. This will include 8 attractions that are not included with Disney Genie +. Pricing will vary by the ride and the crowd level at the park. Disney announced that right now, pricing will max out at $15 per person on select attractions during the launch period. The pricing will also increase during busy park times and decrease during off season park times.
Individual Attraction Selections will include:
Magic Kingdom
-Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ($10-12 per person)
-Space Mountain
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
-Rise of the Resistance ($15 per person)
-Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway
Epcot
-Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure ($9-11 per person)
-Frozen Ever After
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
-Flight of Passage
-Expedition Everest ($7 per person)
It is also important to note that you cannot modify or cancel your reservations for these rides once you have made them. If you miss your ride reservation, you will not be refunded. The only time guests will be refunded is if a ride goes down and the reservation cannot be rescheduled. With all of the new “pay per ride” changes coming to Disney World, it will be interesting to see how the wait times will be affected.
