Orlando's culinary scene just got a finger-licking upgrade with the grand opening of the first Raising Cane's restaurant on 7105 Palm Parkway earlier this month!
The Louisiana-based chain, renowned for its famous chicken fingers and signature sauce, welcomed the Orlando Real team on November 7 for an unforgettable launch, and we got the chance to experience it for the first time at their grand opening.
The History of Raising Cane's
If you haven’t already heard of them, Raising Cane's is a popular fast-food chain known for their famous chicken fingers and signature sauce.
Raising Cane's Chicken Fingers was founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, in 1996. One of the founders’ had a dog by the name of Raising Cane, a loyal companion who was always around during the construction of the very first restaurant, and ended up being named after the furry friend!

The Theming
Inside the restaurant, the retro-style decor exudes nostalgia with its retro theme, adorned with an iconic Elvis portrait and illuminated by disco ball lights.
The eccentric seating and multi-colored tables adds a touch of whimsy, while brick walls provide the homely rustic charm one can expect from the cuisine.
What's on the Menu
The menu is conveniently simple, focusing on chicken fingers, crinkle-cut fries, coleslaw, Texas toast, and their signature Cane's sauce.
There are a handful of combos that change the amount of food given, with kid combos starting at $6.50 and the largest meal coming out to $16.50. We tried the box combo which comes with 4 tenders, fries, texas toast, and a small side of coleslaw, plus a regular drink.
Family meals come in the form of “Tailgates”, with orders ranging from 25 ($43) to 100 ($148) whopping chicken fingers!
On the drinks side, guests can expect the perfect companions to chicken fingers: Coke products, lemonade, and sweet and unsweetened tea (and you can buy a jug size, which equals a gallon)!

While most fast food restaurants don’t tend to offer much of an indoor experience, Raising Cane’s definitely differs from the rest and deserves some attention, so make sure to check it out whenever you can!

Raising Cane’s has already filed permits to build at least 12 locations scattered throughout Central Florida, but the next two set to open are coming to Lake Nona (12040 Pioneers Way) and Kissimmee (8170 W. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy)!
Overall
Orlando's first Raising Cane's on Palm Parkway just opened their doors, delivering their famous (and long-awaited) chicken to Central Florida residents. The menu is simple yet satisfying, featuring combos and family-sized "Tailgates." The drive-thru option adds convenience, and with plans for 12 more locations in Central Florida, including Lake Nona and Kissimmee, Raising Cane's is set to become a local favorite. It has definitely already become one of ours!
