Rockpit Brewing Brings Small Batch Beers to the Sodo District

By Cassady Quintana

Tucked behind a long-standing staple Cecil’s BBQ, Rockpit Brewing opened its doors in 2019 by co-founders Chris Rock and Sean Burke and quickly became a neighborhood favorite, solidifying its reputation as a top-notch brewer in the community and city. The coal-country themed brewery features a family and pet-friendly taproom and weekly events for everyone to enjoy.

Snacks and Sips

Whether you're a seasoned beer aficionado or a casual sipper, Rockpit Brewing invites customers to explore a diverse array of crafted flavors from their ever-changing line-up of small batch beers and cocktails. Each rotation includes 3-5 IPA’s alongside sours, belgians, germans, lagers, pilsners, seltzer waters, and more!

Beyond the beer diversity, Rockpit prides themselves in having options for everyone. The taproom is filled with 20 taps ranging from house crafted beer, hard seltzers, ciders, moonshine, and cocktails.

Patrons at Rockpit Brewery also enjoy a tasteful perk – the ability to order off an exclusive menu from Cecil's, with the convenience of having the Texas style BBQ dishes delivered right to their table. This collaborative dining experience allows for a more family-friendly atmosphere.

For those seeking a fruity twist, we recommend the Blackberry Gin Mule - a balance between fresh blackberries, crispness of gin and a subtle follow up of ginger beer – a refreshing concoction that satisfies.
