Sunbridge Overview

“Naturehoods” are the future we need to come from newly constructed neighborhoods, and that’s what Sunbridge is soon to be all about.

Sunbridge is a master-planned community that is currently in the construction process in Saint Cloud, focusing on maintaining the notion that being in and around nature is a daily essential. The whole neighborhood is made up of 25,000+ acres and spans both Osceola and Orange counties.

According to its website, Sunbridge strives to develop a neighborhood that embodies “living Florida.” “The neighborhoods of Sunbridge are filled with adventure and connected to real Florida nature,” the website states.

The waterfronts in Sunbridge emulate a similar ambiance to those found in Baldwin Park or Downtown Celebration, which is perfect for those looking for pretty views alongside nature.

This new community is only 15 minutes from the Orlando International Airport, 10 minutes from Lake Nona, 50 minutes from Florida’s Space Coast and 35 minutes from Downtown Orlando and Disney World.

What’s Coming to Sunbridge?

In this area of Osceola County, there has already been a 45% increase of population growth. More people are looking to move just outside the big city, which means more is to come to keep those movers satisfied.

Sunbridge is soon to be filled with hotels, shops, restaurants and retail that will ideally draw in crowds from the Kissimmee, Saint Cloud and Lake Nona areas.

There will also be 8 million square feet of office, commercial and industrial builds, 400 acres of civic space, and loads more that will help the community become its own.

Neighborhoods and More in Sunbridge

Before we dive into the kinds of neighborhoods that will be coming to Sunbridge, we have to journey to where everything begins: Basecamp.

Basecamp is the place to go for all things Sunbridge. It’s filled with lots of information on the community, the homes, and its nature. If you’re looking to hike or go on a bike ride in the first two miles of the Sunbridge trail network, you’ll find the trailhead at Basecamp. For picnics and get-togethers, you can gather at the pavilion or grassy lawn.

Basecamp is open every day from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., which is super convenient for whoever wants to utilize all that Sunbridge has to offer today.

Del Webb

Del Webb at Sunbridge is one of the neighborhoods that has seen a lot of growth as of late. It is a 55+ active adult community that will have over 1,500 houses by its completion.

This neighborhood has an amazing amenity center, is gated, and filled with single-story homes. There are many single family homes, as well as villas for larger families — truly something for everyone.

Weslyn Park

Weslyn Park is another neighborhood coming to Sunbridge that currently has about 600 homes, and will soon have over 1,000.

This neighborhood is committed to creating sustainable neighborhoods that will benefit the future of communities in Florida, which is why it’s currently working on drought-free landscaping — which means no more grass lawns. Each house in Weslyn Park will also come complete with solar panel roofs, some of which are Tesla solar panels.

This neighborhood gives off a similar vibe to that of Laureate Park in Lake Nona.

Some downsides with the neighborhood are that as of 2023, there are no schools. However, a K-8 school is currently under construction and will open during the summer of 2024. Additionally, getting to Weslyn Park currently has its difficulties, but with the upcoming construction of the Osceola Parkway extension, that will not be a permanent problem.

Homes in Weslyn Park will range in price from $400K to $1 million+, which means there are homes for all sorts of people!
