Orlando is home to a range of different foodies, from vegans to people with allergies and everyone in between. The Greenery Creamery aims to bring delicious flavors for every type of foodie. They create premium dairy ice cream, allergen-friendly, and a variety of vegan flavors as well. Located in Downtown Orlando and Downtown Sanford, this little ice cream shop has new flavors everyday, as well as cookies and pastries to enjoy!
The Ice Cream
The Greenery Creamery has a wide variety of ice cream flavors to offer their guests, including nondairy and vegan-based. According to their website, their ice creams are made with premium, organic, local, and natural ingredients. The cream for their dairy based ice cream even comes from grass-fed cows! They are also made in small batches so each is made perfect, and I seriously couldn’t wait to try all of their unique flavors!
I also appreciated that each ice cream has a card that designates allergens in each flavor. This makes guests feel safe trying new flavors without the stress of unknown allergens present. You can check out their website to see their flavors of the month and flavors of the day. They also change out the flavors of their ice cream cookie sandwiches daily. I tried the dairy cookie monster, my favorite flavor in any ice cream shop, and the vegan ube which was also delicious! They have a variety of toppings as well so you can concoct all kinds of tasty creations.
Pints and Decor
The inside of the shop also has a cooler with pints of ice cream ready to take home with you. There are also some house plants available for purchase, and seriously cool Orlando and The Greenery Creamery merch you can buy. I loved the little decorative touches around the shop, from the upside down ice cream cone light fixtures, to the table outside painted with geese wearing ice cream cones for hats!
Overall
The Greenery Creamery is the cutest little ice cream shop in Downtown Orlando. If you’re located a little further north Orlando, they also have a second location in Downtown Sanford! This is a great spot to get vegan and allergen-friendly ice cream, as well as traditional ice cream that is locally made with love! I am already looking forward to my next trip to the city so I can see what they’ll be scooping up next.
Downtown Orlando
Downtown Orlando is a great location in Central Florida not only for foodies, but people who love the buzz of the city. Local neighborhoods include Thornton Park, which is located in an area filled with activity including tons of local bars and restaurants. This area also includes cozy homes featuring oak tree roads and wrap-around porches. Eola Heights is another neighborhood located downtown which showcases brick roads and traditional style homes, keeping you close to the city but giving you the privacy and warmth of home.
