Ways to Escape the Heat at WDW

2. Cool Scanner – Tomorrowland

The Cool Scanner in Tomorrowland is a misting station that is another great way to escape the heat. Walking around the park all day in the heat can be pretty uncomfortable at times and once you get a blast of cold, gentle mist, you will almost immediately cool down.

3. Liki Tikis – Adventureland

The Liki Tikis in Adventureland is another great way to keep cool. Located near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, this tiki-themed misting station is a must-do when walking around Adventureland on a hot day!

4. Casey Jr’s Splash ‘N’ Soak Station – Storybook Circus

The Splash ‘N’ Soak Station at Storybook Circus in Fantasyland is a fun splash pad area for kids. The play area is inspired by the circus train from the Walt Disney animated classic Dumbo. The train blows a refreshing mist, while the circus animals spray you with water. It is one of the best ways to escape the heat and is a great place for kids to play.

2. Splash Pad – World Discovery

The Splash Pad at Epcot is a great place for the kids in your party to cool down. It’s located about 100 feet in front of Mission: SPACE. The base of the splash pad is made of a spongy material, so you won’t have to worry while your kids are playing! Pro tip – you may want to bring a change of clothes for them because you can get pretty soaked playing over here!

3. Club Cool – World Celebration

Club Cool is a fan-favorite for all who visit Epcot! This Coca Cola store is not only air conditioned, but also has drink machines that line the entire back wall! You can sample sodas from around the world! Be sure to try them all the next time you’re at Epcot!

4. The Seas Pavilion – World Nature

The Seas Pavilion is not only one of the best and largest aquariums in the entire United States, but it is also another great way to cool down! You can walk through this enormous (air conditioned!) 5.7-million-gallon saltwater aquarium and learn all about sea life, marine biology, and more!

1. Kali River Rapids

If you are looking for one of the best ways to stay cool at Animal Kingdom, you must ride Kali River Rapids. While riding this rip-roaring river raft ride, you will almost certainly get drenched!

2. Festival of the Lion King

The Festival of the Lion King is one of the most amazing shows in Walt Disney World. Not only will you have fun singing along to your favorite songs from the Disney animated classic The Lion King, but you’ll also have about 40 minutes in a nice, air-conditioned environment!
