Farm & Haus in Winter Park

By Yasmene Warren

Breakfast and brunch just got a thousand times better — especially since this place has begun offering table top service. Farm & Haus has two locations - one located on Park Avenue and the other at East End Market in Winter Park. It's the perfect place to go for a locally sourced dining experience!

All About Farm & Haus

What initially began as a spot in Winter Park’s East End Market is now a brick and mortar establishment on South Park Avenue. Farm & Haus is a breakfast/brunch restaurant that serves fresh foods with ingredients sourced locally.

Farm & Haus serves a lot of typical American breakfast dishes, but what sets them apart from other restaurants is their dedication to keeping everything fresh and organic. This eatery sources its ingredients from farms and purveyors such as Everoak, Lake Meadow, Play of Sunlight, Olde Hearth and Hinckley’s Meats.

Farm & Haus is open every day except Tuesdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., so don’t sleep in and miss out on this great breakfast option!

Farm & Haus’ Fresh Menu

Farm & Haus keeps its menu relatively simple, but each item has a lot to offer. If you’re looking for the classics, try this restaurant’s banana bread, avocado toast, or buckwheat pancakes. The pancakes are served with orange curd, fruit, and “Haus-made” granola, which perfectly spices up a traditional American breakfast dish.

Under Farm & Haus’ plates and bowls section, you’ll find dishes such as the Mediterranean breakfast, harvest hash and two different types of salads.

If you’re willing to get your hands dirty, then don’t hesitate on ordering from the handhelds section. You can get the bacon breakfast sandwich, the biscuit breakfast sandwich, the Haus burger, or the chicken sandwich. Each handheld dish item comes with a side of fries or Haus salad and a pickle spear.

Farm & Haus has a side menu unlike any other. Complement your main course with some hash browns, sweet potato, Haus kimchi, or if you want something more filling, order a biscuit or toast with jam, bacon or some shoestring fries.

A breakfast place wouldn’t be complete without some coffee options. Perk up your day with drinks like an Americano, cappuccino, cortado, matcha latte, chai latte and more.

If caffeine isn’t your thing, then of course, there are regular drinks as well. Feel free to try Farm & Haus’ delicious, fresh-squeezed orange juice, some sparkling water, jasmine green tea, herbal tea and more.

The Atmosphere

Farm & Haus provides a classy yet comforting vibe with minimalistic design details. This place takes plain white walls and adds molding and trims with abstract light fixture designs to help add that classy touch. The seating is cute and cozy with white marble table tops and forest green benches lining the walls.

The bar takes class to another level with its green paint and gold countertops, and to top it all off, a golden fixture right above it to house live green plants. The fixtures on the ceiling are also abstract in nature and the lights are little round spheres that almost make you feel like mini suns are floating above you! Farm & Haus keeps it cute and simple, which makes for a fun, comfortable dining experience worth sharing with others.

Overall

It’s not easy finding places that source their food locally, but luckily, Farm & Haus is here to save the day. Not only will you be supporting your community, but you’ll also be getting a healthy, delicious bite in while you’re at it!

Park Avenue District

The Park Avenue District is located in the heart of Winter Park and is home to loads of local restaurants, shops and boutiques, small businesses, hotels, art and more. A historic district, the Park Avenue District is where Rollins built its campus and where you can find historical museums such as the Winter Park History Museum or Charles Hosmer Morse Museum of American Art. There’s also Central Park, the Albin Polasek Museum & Sculpture Garden and the Winter Park farmers market. There are lots of things to do and see, so why not check out homes in the area?
