I’m sure by now you’ve seen the hilarious videos of people meeting the one and only Grinch and thought, hey – that looks like fun! Well, you’re in luck! During the holiday season at Islands of Adventure at Universal Orlando, not only can you meet the Grinch, but you can celebrate like you’re a real citizen of Whoville! Here is everything you need to know about Grinchmas at Universal!

Who-liday Spectacular
The Grinchmas Who-liday Spectacular is a live show that stars the Grinch in the telling of Dr. Seuss’s How the Grinch Stole Christmas. It also features many of the sweet and festive residents of Whoville and has music recorded by Mannheim Steamroller. The Who-liday Spectacular runs every day from November 12, 2022, to January 1, 2023, so you still have a week to come enjoy the show for yourself! Show times usually vary but are offered several times throughout the day!
Seating for the show is first come, first serve and if you would like the best seat in the house, it is recommended that you get in line early! After the show, you will have the opportunity to meet some of the Whos, as they will be wandering around Seuss Landing.

How/Where to Meet the Grinch
If you are a big Grinch fan and would like to meet him this year, you will have to join a virtual queue. The Grinch will be meeting with guests at Honk Honkers, across from Moose Juice, Goose Juice in Seuss Landing. There will be a sign right outside Honk Honkers with a QR code that you can scan, and it’ll take you directly to the Universal Orlando app to reserve a spot in the virtual queue. I highly recommend going right on the app and booking a spot before you get to Seuss Landing as these time slots tend to go very quickly due to its immense popularity. In order to access it on the app, go to the Virtual Line Pass and select a return time along with the number of guests in your party. If you’d like to skip the line, you can sign up for Universal’s Holiday Tour (for an additional fee) and you’ll get a private meet and greet with the Grinch and his adorable little dog Max. You can meet the Grinch from November 12, 2022 to January 1, 2023.

The Grinch & Friends Character Breakfast
Great news Grinch fans – after 3 years, you can finally have breakfast with the Grinch again! This fun, holiday breakfast experience is held on select dates from November 12, 2022, to December 29, 2022. You are able to book reservations for 9:00am, 9:30am, 10:00am, 10:30am, and 11:00am only. Guests will enjoy a buffet breakfast at Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous with the Grinch and his Who-ville friends! The breakfast buffet will include lots of themed food and breakfast favorites! After you’re done with your breakfast feast, you and your party will receive a digital download photo with the Grinch himself! Tickets are $41.99 (pre-tax) for adults, and $26 (pre-tax) per child ages 3-9.
Please note that a separate ticket is required for park entry on the day of your breakfast reservation.

Grinchmas is a very fun and exciting time at Universal’s Islands of Adventures. There is so much to see and do from meeting the Grinch and Max, to watching the heartwarming Who-holiday Spectacular, and so much more! This is also the only time of year that guests can dine with the Grinch! Be sure to have your cameras rolling when you meet the Grinch! It is always a hilarious interaction, and you never know what he’s going to say!
