Ranging in price point, architectural style, and neighborhood amenities, homes in Lake Nona appeal to a wide variety of buyers. As such, there are a number of neighborhoods to choose from in this area: four officially, but many that can be considered neighborhoods or sub-neighborhoods in their own right. Those searching for their dream Lake Nona home have a lot of choice—but any property in this region truly feels luxurious. The community has seen a significant rise in population (and of interest) over the past few years, and despite ongoing development, demand has only increased steadily.

There are several neighborhoods where buyers can find single-family homes. In fact, Lake Nona has specific neighborhoods within the community that only showcase this property type. The main neighborhoods are as follows: Laureate Park, Lake Nona Golf & Country Club, Isles of Lake Nona, Laurel Pointe Lake Nona, Summerdale Park, Somerset Park, VillageWalk, and NorthLake Park. Laurel Pointe Lake Nona is a gated community, as is Somerset Park and Lake Nona Golf & Country Club—although the latter also is known for its custom homes and luxury estates.

Each Lake Nona neighborhood offers something unique to its residents. Both Laurel Point and Laureate Park (situated right next to each other in the south Lake Nona region) offer new construction homes for interested buyers. In contrast, more established neighborhoods in the north end of Lake Nona ensure market stability and offer incredible curb appeal. Architecturally, homes range from ranch-style bungalows to multi-story Mediterranean properties. Craftsman and Contemporary designs are less popular, and the latter is exclusively found amongst the top luxury homes.

Single-family homes in this area can also fit a number of lifestyles. Lake Nona is recognized for its Medical City, which generates a lot of jobs for those in the region. Professionals might choose a Lake Nona home for its incredible location and ample space, but also because of the investment potential. In contrast, families often move to Lake Nona for the stability, the top-rated schools, the square footage of properties, and the private residential neighborhoods. Retirees also seek out Lake Nona (the area has its own 55+ community) because of its high quality of life. In a number of the neighborhoods, waterfront locations or views are also quite common.

While Lake Nona homes for sale do range in price point, they are typically on the higher end, especially in comparison to other areas. For those searching for luxury homes for sale, Lake Nona also provides. The Lake Nona Golf & Country Club is renowned for its privacy and gorgeous, custom golf homes. Generous square footage, unique designs, and high-end upgrades: these are just a few of the reasons why Lake Nona luxury homes are so desirable.

Lake Nona Neighborhood Highlights & Amenities

Neighborhoods in Lake Nona are equipped with green spaces and parks, and balance the private community atmosphere with amenities such as shops and restaurants, which are found close by. The gated communities feature a lot of the same types of amenities, but with some additional privacy. HOA fees vary from neighborhood to neighborhood.

The Lake Nona Town Center is another highlight, and is the large commercial area of the region, as well as the Medical City. Lake Nona residents are also just minutes from various attractions, including the theme parks (such as Disney) and the Orlando Downtown
