A culinary revolution is underway with the arrival of Poke Burri, the acclaimed Atlanta-based eatery that has now set roots in the Sunshine State - officially open in Winter Garden as of February 1st, 2024. Poke Burri brings a fresh burst of flavor and innovation to the city's thriving food scene, promising a unique dining experience. Let’s dive in!
What is Poke Burri?
Founded by Ken Yu and Seven Chan, the two draw inspiration from their backgrounds in traditional sushi and a passion for experimentation. They set out to redefine the boundaries of flavor and form, crafting a menu that reflects their dedication to quality and innovation.
Poke Burri made its grand debut within the We Suki Suki food hall located in East Atlanta Village back in October 2016, marking the inception of its culinary journey. With a simple goal of delivering the finest poke in the city, Poke Burri swiftly rose to prominence, earning widespread acclaim and recognition as one of the most awarded and talked-about restaurants in Atlanta's rich culinary history.
Having clinched victory in over 50 competitions and garnering top ratings across various categories such as poke, sushi burritos, sushi, Japanese cuisine, and overall dining experience, Poke Burri solidified its position as a culinary powerhouse within the city and looks to dominate the country.
Inside the Restaurant
The decor seen inside Poke Burri is subtle, yet satisfying with the space feeling very open and ready for friends and family to dine. Those who enter the restaurant have the option to dine at a table, in their small lounging area, or at the bar counter near where you order.
Along the walls you'll find Japanese posters, a nod to the origins of the restaurant and founders, and various articles and news outlets where this popular food spot has been featured - including Forbes, Fox News, and The Food Network.
There are also a couple of greenery walls perfect to photograph their delicious food before you take that first bite!
Exploring the Menu
Poke Burri's menu is filled with bold flavors and imaginative combinations. From options like signature sushi burritos, poke bowls, sushi donuts, sushi pizza, and sushi corndogs, each dish is a testament to the owner's commitment of innovation and creativity.
