Ohio-native franchise Skyline Chili has been expanding across the states and has just opened their new doors right here in Orlando!
Located at the Flamingo Crossings in Winter Garden, Skyline Chili is now open and bringing some northern comfort food to the Central Florida area.
All About Skyline Chili
Skyline Chili — an Ohio staple since its beginning in 1949 — is a beloved chain of chili restaurants primarily based in the Cincinnati, Ohio area. They're known for their unique style of chili, a Mediterranean-spiced meat sauce served over popular diner dishes that have kept their legacy going for decades now!
Inside the restaurant is a welcoming atmosphere with city vibes and blue accents throughout the ceiling and booths. They even added a flamingo and palm trees to their famous logo for their Orlando location!
The Menu
Featuring an affordable menu with options like salads, burritos, and wraps, Skyline Chili is most acclaimed for its chili cheese “coneys” and chili spaghetti plates. The Greek-inspired chili, often topped with shredded cheddar cheese and diced onions, provides a distinctive regional culinary experience.
The chili-covered spaghetti dishes can be ordered in a number of “ways”, starting from a two-way up to a five-way. The number of ways chosen refers to the selection of ingredients that will come on your dish!
We had the chance to try out their famous chili coney ($3.50) and a black bean with rice burrito ($3.85), the vegan option for those who are looking for a meat-free choice! Every coney and spaghetti dish came generously topped with a mountain of cheese, ensuring a delightful burst of cheesy goodness!
Drive Thru
While the location does have a sit-in spot that functions like every fast food restaurant, the drive-thru is also now open, and the most convenient way to take these special dishes home with you!
