Sus Hi Eatstation

Have you ever wanted to eat like a ninja?! At Sus Hi Eatstation, with locations all over Central Florida, build your own sushi rolls, sushi bowls, and sushi burritos! Fresh and scrumptious foods await at SusHi as well as incredible theming to really make you feel like a ninja.

Ninjas and Sushi

The first thing you’ll notice when you walk in the door at Sus Hi is the theming. Immediately you’ll be greeted with “Hello Ninja” or “Welcome Ninja” by employees when you walk in the door. Founders Robert and Teresa wanted to combine their love for sushi with something fun like ninjas, and that’s exactly the essence I felt when I visited for the first time!

The entire experience is so fun. If you order melted cheese on your bowl or roll, the employees will yell “fire!” loudly, just for a little bit of extra pizazz. Speaking of employees, those working in the front are referred to as ninjas. In addition to this, the managers are referred to as senseis! The walls are also decorated with chalkboard art that is incredibly detailed, specific to each location! For example, we visited the first location by the University of Central Florida. Here, there were a bunch of knight ninjas and ninjas visiting the campus on the wall art!

The Food

I first went to Sus Hi myself when I was just a wee little lass going to school at UCF. At that age I loved how fun it was and, at the time being vegan, how many options there were for me to eat! Going back for the first time this week after a few years, I wasn’t sure if I would love it the same. But honestly, I think I loved it more!

I didn’t remember how absolutely fresh everything was, like seriously I watched the girl making my bowl open the avocado right in front of me! Everything was full of flavor, so so good, and there are so many options for everyone including gluten free and vegetarian. It works the same as any kind of “make your own” restaurant, like a Chipotle or a Subway. When ordering, you can walk through the rows of toppings for your creation and choose any that you like.

For drinks, they serve sodas from the brand Stubborn Soda, which are all natural and full of unique flavors. The price is also really fair considering you are getting incredibly fresh and tasty sushi, which is great for the college students right across the street. If you’re looking for something a little bit different, they also serve up a flamin’ hot fried burrito, with flamin’ hot Cheeto dust on the exterior!

Overall

Become a ninja at Sus Hi Eatstation, with locations all over Central Florida! This place is seriously so good, I cannot recommend it enough! Just be sure to stretch first. Whether you’re learning new ninja moves or filling up your belly, this place will definitely pack a punch!

UCF & Waterford Lakes

The Sus Hi Eatstation is very close to the UCF campus, located on Alafaya Trail. This area is home to a ton of other shops, restaurants, and activities for families and students. Also close by is Waterford Lakes, a really popular area of Central Florida for families and college students to live and enjoy. The Waterford Town Center is a huge shopping plaza in this area that also hosts many different restaurants and shops, like the cupcake shop Sweet! By Holly and PopStroke, the new mini golf location created by Tiger Woods. Curious what it looks like to live in this area?
