Besides brewing quality beer, Tactical Brewing in Baldwin Park has a passion for helping fellow veterans and first responders. Whether it be networking, supporting nonprofits, or simply providing camaraderie, the brewery strives to make this a priority. Beyond their goal to help out these groups of people, Tactical Brewing is putting a fun and flavorful spin on the beer they serve.
The Beer
With a mantra of "Strategically Chaotic Beer," the brewery boldly declares their dedication to pushing boundaries in the brewing process and the beers they bring to life. All beers are brewed on site with a weekly rotation of new brews. We let the beertender put together a unique lineup of options from this week's tap.

This flight defied all expectations and celebrated the creativity of the Tactical team. The "Holiday Who-be What-ee," was a unique combo of sweet and nutty notes that took on a thicker consistency. The "Meloncholy," brought a burst of refreshing summertime vibes with every sip, replicating a watermelon jolly rancher. The "Lost in the Froth" seamlessly blended the richness of coffee with the smoothness of a lager, creating a tasty experience for coffee lovers. And we cannot forget "Mo Muggles Mo Problems," a butterbeer sour ale that paid homage to a beloved wizarding world beverage.
Each beer told its own story, adding layers of complexity to our Tactical Brewing experience. From whimsical to comforting, the diverse and unique flavors make it a destination for those seeking a beer journey beyond the ordinary.
The Vibes
The vibes at Tactical Brewing are as inviting and eclectic as the beers on tap. The beertenders, with their infectious energy and outgoing personalities, create an atmosphere that's not just about the beer but the connections made over it. In this neighborhood-centric space, it's common to find familiar faces, turning the brewery into a friendly gathering spot where everyone feels like a regular.
The inclusion of card games and old Nintendo classics in the back adds a playful touch, bringing out the kid in us all. Even the cans themselves are a work of art, boasting cool designs that have earned accolades for their creativity. The award-winning can designs mirror the brewery's commitment to innovation and excellence, creating an ambiance at Tactical Brewing that's both visually stimulating and socially welcoming.
Events
No matter what night you head over to the brewery, there will be something going on. With food trucks in attendance 4 nights out of the week, it is a great place for a family night out or a meet up with your friends.
