If you love a good brew (coffee or beer, both are here!) and love to bring your dog out on the town, have we got the place for you! Whippoorwill Beer House & Package Store is located in the Milk District, and is a one-of-a-kind place. Here, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, grab a beer, or take home a pack of unique ciders, all with your four legged friends.

The Coffee Shop
Whippoorwill has so much to offer including a bar, coffee shop, merch station, and a wall full of beer and wines for purchase. For now, we’ll start with the coffee shop since there is so much to talk about here!
The coffee shop is really cute, nestled into the corner of the building and offers all kinds of beverages and small plates. They serve traditional coffees like pour overs and cold brews, but they also have specialty beverages that rotate by the season. When we visited, they were on the last stretch of their summer menu. This included sunny offerings like the Strawberry Rosé Matcha and Orange Blossom Lattes.

They have a wide range of toasts as well, and we tried the avocado toast. Out of all of the avocado toasts I myself as a millennial have tried, this had to be a top contender for my favorite! The bread is the best part of these toasts, it is truly so light and airy and has a delicious buttery flavor. I definitely have the Cinna-Toast Crunch on my list to try next time though, which is made with sweetened condensed milk and brûlée on the top!
Package Store
The wall filled with beer and wine to take home was our favorite part because there were so many unique and local offerings. We loved looking at all the different flavors and the beautifully designed labels! We took home two different types of beer, one with notes of pineapple sundae, and a sour beer with strawberry, raspberry, and lime. There were so many to look at and my dog enjoyed looking through them as well!

Overall
Whether you’re looking for a coffee, snack, beer, or a place to chill, Whippoorwill has all that and more while also being dog friendly! Since they have a rotating seasonal menu, we will definitely be back to try their new offerings, and I’m sure our dog will be excited to visit again as well!
The Milk District
Whippoorwill is located in the Milk District, one of the best places in Orlando to visit local restaurants with some of the best food in Central Florida. My personal favorite is Pom Pom’s Teahouse and Sandwicheria, for deliciously crafted sandwiches and sweets. The Milk District is also filled with street art and cool shops like record stores and secondhand shops. Its close proximity to Mills 50, Downtown, and College Park makes it a great spot to live for people who love keeping busy with activities and the energy of the city.
