Winter Park Home Sells for $1.7M

Luxury home in Winter Park sells after 114 days on the market at $1,745,500.

The Home

Located in the heart of Winter Park, this two-story home was built in 2018 by David Weekley Homes. It offers a stylish front exterior, and features 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms. Included in its modern design are large picture windows, frosted garage doors, and a stunning mix of brick and paneling. The open floor plan offers a seamless transition from one room to the next, with high ceilings and lots of natural light throughout. There is also a wrap-around porch that leads to the heated pool and spa, and private garden in the back of the home.

Sold

Since the seller’s purchase in 2018, this luxury home has gone up in value by over $500,000. After being placed on the market at $2.1 Million back in May, this home reduced its price several times over the span of 90 days. The home ultimately sold for $1,745,500 just last week. The buyer was able to save on the purchase price, as well as the seller still being able to reap a profit.

Our team had the opportunity to represent the buyer for this home, and we successfully helped them find the home of their dreams. If you’re looking to buy or sell, we would love to help you as well! Here’s a little bit about what our team had to say about this sale.

The luxury market is the biggest opportunity in Orlando right now. While the lower price points still have plenty of demand, the luxury market has seen a slight pull back. My buyers saved over $350,000, and we didn’t have to go against multiple offers. The sellers still made over $685,000 in profit since their purchase in 2018, so honestly it was a win-win.

Winter Park

Some of the most luxurious homes in Central Florida are located in Winter Park. You can read more about Winter Park and other luxury neighborhoods in one of our past articles – Affordable vs Luxury Neighborhoods. There’s a mix of condos, townhomes, single family, and luxury homes throughout the 32789 zip code. Many of these residences in the area were built between the 1940’s and 1990’s, with some new construction throughout.

This being said, prices for these older homes can range from the mid $200’s for a townhome to multi millions for a luxury home. In fact, a home built in 1880 just recently sold for $1.75 Million, and the most expensive home currently is $15 Million, built in 1901. When looking at new construction, these can range from the $800’s to $5 Million.

Not only is Winter Park home to some beautiful luxury residences, it also is in the perfect area just North of Downtown Orlando and near UCF. There are many parks and activities throughout Winter Park including Blue Jacket Park and many History and Art Museums. In an emergency, AdventHealth Winter Park and the Orlando VA Medical Center are close by. If you have a furry friend, just South you’ll find another park for roaming at the Lake Baldwin Dog Park. Winter Park is overall a great place to live, and offers so much to its residents.
