You may have heard of Wondermade marshmallows. Delicious, light and airy marshmallows made in a variety of incredible flavors like Key Lime Pie and Lavender! But did you know that Wondermade actually has their own store in Downtown Sanford?! Here, you can try some of their incredible homemade marshmallows as well as their homemade ice creams!

The Marshmallow Story

The marshmallow journey of owners Nathan and Jenn actually begins with Christmas many years ago. Nathan didn’t yet have a Christmas present for his wife, but eventually decided on a candy thermometer and a recipe for marshmallows. After the sweet success of their first batch of marshmallows, they had the idea to create Wondermade!

The neat thing about wondermade is you can use their many different kinds of marshmallows to spice up your favorite snack. No more hot chocolate with plain marshmallows. Now you can enjoy your hot chocolate with minty or cinnamon marshmallows on top! Or how about a rice crispy treat made with rainbow marshmallows? The possibilities are endless!

Homemade Ice Cream

Of course, this store also serves up homemade ice creams that also come in some super unique flavors! They offer seasonal varieties, and when we visited these were Blueberry Cobbler, Apple Cider Sorbet, and Pumpkin Pie! One of their most popular flavors is Maple Bacon so you never know what combinations you’ll find here!

You can also find treats made out of marshmallows like S’mores popsicles and ice cream sandwiches! The store also caters to everyone with vegan, dairy free, and gluten free options, so get ready to sink your teeth into some tasty treats.
