Some lakes you can expect to find in this county include Lake Minneola, Lake Minnehaha, and Lake Louisa. It goes as far south as Clermont up to Minneola.

Homes along these lakes range from older condos to remodeled estates. Expect the low $500-$600K’s for the condos and up to multiple millions for the estates.

A few pluses to residing on a Clermont lakefront include boat access, proximity to Downtown Clermont, as well as miles of trails and pocket parks. On the Lake Louisa side, there are ample areas that are optimal for lovers of the outdoors to camp at.

Harris Chain of Lakes

The Harris Chain of Lakes consists of seven different lakes, which include Lake Denham, Lake Griffin, Lake Harris, Little Lake Harris, Lake Dora, Lake Eustis, and Lake Yale.

The Harris lakes allow you easy access to the life on land. There are even some restaurants where you can drive your boat up, park, and dine.

Eustis, Leesburg, Mount Dora, and Tavares all surround these lakes, so price points for homes in the area vary. If you’re looking throughout lake areas, expect prices from the low $300K’s up to the multi millions.

Being on the east side of the Harris chain puts you about 35 minutes from Downtown Orlando and 50 minutes to both Walt Disney World and the Orlando International Airport.

Butler Chain of Lakes

The Butler Chain of Lakes is made up of 13 interconnected crystal clear lakes, which include Lake Butler, Cypress Lake, Wauseon Bay, Lake Bessie, Lake Down, Lake Louise, Lake Blanche, Lake Chase, Lake Palmer, Lake Tibet, Lake Sheen, Pocket Lake, and Little Fish Lake.

Properties in this area range from as low as $4 million to $5 million and as high as $30 million, making it one of the most expensive chain of lakes to live on in Central Florida.

Conway Chain of Lakes

Located just north of the Orlando International Airport is the Conway Chain of Lakes, which is made up of three lakes: Lake Gatlin, Little Lake Conway, and Lake Conway.
