Explore Orlando Real Estate

Orlando real estate encompasses a wide range of property types and budgets. For potential homebuyers, that means there’s a home for every taste. From vacant land and lots to contemporary condos in the downtown, there’s a reason Orlando is nicknamed “The City Beautiful.”

Home prices are largely dependent on area, and there are neighborhoods in Orlando that are incredibly desirable and exclusive, alongside those that are more affordably priced. In general, most of the area’s older bungalows for sale are priced lower, and these are located all around the city. There are also opportunities on the real estate market to own a historic property, with some Orlando homes and condos dated 1940 and earlier. These homes are typically very centrally-located and have been well-maintained, however this means that these properties usually sell for higher prices.

Downtown Orlando—or the Central Business District—is where you’ll find exclusive, modern condos and townhomes alongside historic properties. Single-family homes are usually priced over a million dollars, whilst condos are priced over the $600,000 mark. Of course, this sometimes varies. For those looking on the market for a potential rental property, there are many Airbnb-friendly neighborhoods around Orlando.

For those searching for lakefront homes, there are a few neighborhoods that offer this feature. But, these homes for sale are generally luxury homes, of which the city has many. College Park and Baldwin Park are just two of Orlando’s highly sought-after neighborhoods, made up of almost entirely luxury properties

Orlando Highlights & Amenities

Of course, when you think of Orlando, you think of the amusement parks—it’s most famous being Walt Disney World. This park is found about 20 minutes southwest of downtown, and is known for its exciting rides, as well as its shopping and dining opportunities. The resort includes Magic Kingdom, Animal Kingdom, and EPCOT.

Universal Orlando Resort is located within the city. Highlights of this resort include The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, and Universal’s Volcano Bay, the latter of which is a waterpark. SeaWorld Orlando is located just south of Universal Studios Orlando.

There is, however, so much more to Orlando than just its theme parks, but most of these are located around the downtown area. With a ton of museums in and around the city, explore the Orlando Museum of Art and the Orlando Science Center, or take a stroll through the Harry P Leu Gardens at the Leu House Museum or down by Lake Eola Park. The Orlando area itself can be split into its East side and West side, each of which have their own charm.

Other attractions include the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts, the Amway Center, Camping World Stadium and the Exploria Stadium, Church Street Station, and the Orange County Regional History Center. You’ll also find three golf clubs in Orlando: The Country Club of Orlando, MetroWest Golf Club, and Dubsdread Golf Course.

Orlando balances nightlife and quiet residential areas, with some of the neighborhoods being quite walkable. The city offers plenty of opportunities for shopping and dining (including a top restaurant in the country), plus a multitude of schools. But those of all ages can enjoy Orlando’s many parks and green spaces, several are located on one of the area’s lakes.
