Explore Winter Garden Golf Real Estate For Sale
The gorgeous city of Winter Garden, located right on Lake Apopka, is recognized for its charming neighborhoods—a popular alternative to the larger city of Orlando. Its premier golf course, Stoneybrook West Golf Club, is found in the south end of the city, off Stoneybrook West Parkway. Those who make the move to Winter Garden often do so for its expansive commercial areas, great amenities and family-friendly atmosphere.
Golf real estate in Winter Garden is some of the most exclusive in the city, on account of there being only a small number of properties available. The neighborhood, aptly named Stoneybrook West, is a gated community consisting of entirely single-family homes. Although there is only one property type, there is much choice for homebuyers in regards to floor plan and square footage.
In regards to architecture, golf homes for sale in this Winter Garden community are designed in a similar fashion. That is, homes are built in a typical Craftsman style, although some properties have Mediterranean influences (namely in their roof styles and dramatic arches). While most of the homes have stucco exteriors in neutral colors, there are also some houses that use brick in their design. As well, there are both single-story and multiple-story homes available on the market.
Square footage and home interiors do vary quite a bit. This, of course, is once again reflected in price point, but Stoneybrook West golf homes do range from about $500,000 to $900,000—making this community a more affordable one in comparison to other golf neighborhoods in the Orlando area. Amenities for this community are also excellent, and these two factors combined make this a desirable place to live. Smaller golf homes can start at just under 2,000 square feet. These properties still have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, but are typically bungalows. In any case, these homes can be a great choice for first-time buyers, especially families. On the higher end, more expensive homes can near (or even exceed) 4,000 square feet in size—although these homes are smaller in number.
While home features obviously vary from property to property, many of the homes in this community have multiple-car garages, covered backyard porches for outdoor entertaining, and, in some cases, backyard pools.
Winter Garden Golf Highlights & Amenities

As mentioned above, Stoneybrook West is a gated community, with 24-hour surveillance. Residents love the extra security that this provides, especially those with kids. The neighborhood itself also sits on Black Lake, and some of the most desirable properties have their own private water access, and residents often take their boat out. The community has a boat ramp and boat storage. To the northwest is Johns Lake Preserve.
Typical of golf communities, many homes back onto the golf course. Stoneybrook West Golf Course has eighteen holes, a restaurant, and a practice area, while the community has its own clubhouse (almost 8,000 square feet in size). The clubhouse has a kitchen and event spaces, a fitness center, a pool, a ballroom, and many other features. Outside, there are many opportunities for sports, including a beach volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball courts, and even a hockey rink. Additionally, there is a playground for the kids.
