Some might argue boat life is the best life, especially those attending the Orlando Boat Show at the OCCC this year. Known as Orlando’s premier boat show, this convention is taking place the first weekend in April, and will feature over 600 boats.

Even better, this convention is fun for the whole family and will include fun, kid-friendly activities such as live fishing at the trout pond, learning about fishing techniques and water safety at the Kids Fishing Clinic, and meeting the pirate magician and mermaid stilt walkers. Twiggy the water skiing squirrel is also making his return to the Orlando Boat Show this year, and trust that it’s something you need to see!

Orange County Convention Center

Orlando’s go-to hub for meetings, conventions, expositions, and more — better known as the Orange County Convention Center — has been hosting a variety of events in the City Beautiful for the past 40 years. OCCC is the second-largest convention center in the country with 7,000,000 square feet of space. The OCCC is made up of 74 meeting rooms, 235 breakouts, a 2,643-seat Chapin Theater, a 200-seat lecture hall, two generously sized ballrooms, three business centers, three full-service restaurants, and eight food courts. Its events attract around 1.5 million people annually, pumping about $2.5 billion into Central Florida’s ever-growing economy.

International Drive

International Drive is Orlando’s center for all things entertainment and tourism. It’s home to a staggering number of activities, restaurants, and shops, including big-box staples like Dave & Buster’s and Ripley’s. One of the most notable attractions on I-Drive is ICON Park, which brings attractions such as The Orlando Eye, Orlando Sling Shot, Madame Tussauds, and so much more. Some of our favorite stops include Egg-Celente, Kavas Tacos & Tequila, and Max Action Arena. If you’re looking for a good time, you’ll find it on I-Drive. If you’re also looking for a new home in the area, you’ll find it with help from our team!
