Construction Begins on The Grow Neighborhood
Pulte Group has secured over 400 acres in Orange County for Orlando's first “Agrihood” community, The Grow. With an investment of $10 million, the first phase will feature 504 lots, a nine-acre farm, barns, and a farm stand. The expansive 1,185-acre development will encompass diverse housing, community gardens, a park, trails, an equestrian facility, and more. Pulte plans to commence construction, including the first pool facility, in late January.
Town Vineland Apartments
South I-Drive is set to welcome a new addition to its skyline with the Town Vineland Apartments—an upcoming 396-unit luxury garden-style, multi-family development. Comprising sixteen 3-story buildings, a clubhouse, pool, 5 detached garages, and 600 surface parking spaces, this modern complex is poised to redefine residential living. Anticipated completion is scheduled for 2024, offering a contemporary living experience in this vibrant area.
Barnett Villas
Following Orange County Commission's funding approval for more affordable housing projects, 2024 may see the arrival of new affordable housing units. One of the approved projects is Barnett Villas, a 156-unit affordable rental housing complex situated right next to Barnett Park in Pine Hills, per the Orlando Business Journal. Anticipated to conclude by October 2024, this initiative aims to address the pressing need for affordable housing in the county.
Orlando Magic Entertainment District + Residences
Orlando Magic's visionary $500 million sports hub near downtown's Kia Center promises a transformative landscape, opening doors to diverse business prospects sometime in 2024. Spanning 8.5 acres, this ambitious project includes a 260-room hotel tower, a 200,000-square-foot office space housing the Magic's corporate headquarters, 270 residential units, a 1,100-space parking garage, 125,000 square feet of retail space, a 3,500-capacity live event venue, and a central plaza, among other exciting features.
Dreamworks Land
Universal Orlando revealed exciting plans for 2024 with the introduction of a new land dedicated to DreamWorks Animation characters. Set to replace the KidZone attractions, including Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster, DreamWorks Land promises interactive play spaces and attractions inspired by beloved characters like "Gabby’s Dollhouse," "Shrek," "Trolls," and "Kung Fu Panda." Visitors can also look forward to immersive experiences and meet-and-greet areas in this upcoming addition to the Universal Studios theme park!
New Star Tours Adventures
Exciting news from Disney! Star Tours is set to journey to fresh Star Wars destinations. Following the 2010 update allowing story swaps, the attraction will now feature new scenes in its upcoming version. Get ready for the arrival of new Star Wars characters, with Ahsoka Tano joining the Star Tours experience! Anticipated launch: Spring 2024.
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure
Get ready for Tiana's Bayou Adventure, a new Disney World attraction opening soon! Drawing inspiration from "The Princess and the Frog," the ride is set after the film's events where Tiana, now a business owner of Tiana's Foods, invites riders on a journey through the bayou with friends like Louis, the jazz-loving gator, as they prepare for an exhilarating Mardi Gras celebration. Currently under construction in Frontierland, the magical adventure is set to debut in late 2024.
New Country Bears Musical Jamboree

The educational center will immerse visitors in wildlife and conservation through interactive exhibits. Get up close with sloths, kangaroos, lemurs, and alligators, and enjoy hands-on activities like gemstone mining and fossil finding. Opening in September 2024, Cool Zoo plans to offer general admission at $15, with one-on-one animal encounters ranging from $10 to $100 per person.
Atmos 360 Dining
